Conducting Chemical Hazard and Risk Assessments
Chemical Training

Develop the practical capability to conduct a chemical hazard and risk assessment within a rural workplace by identifying chemical hazards, assessing the associated risks, selecting appropriate control measures and completing a workplace-based assessment. Designed for rural, agricultural and regional work environments where chemicals may be stored, handled, transported or used, this course focuses specifically on chemical risks and the controls needed to protect workers, contractors, visitors and others who may be exposed. It supplements the broader Conduct a Hazard and Risk Assessment to Meet Your WHS Legal Obligations course, which must be completed as a prerequisite before commencing this specialised chemical risk assessment course.
